360 Excavator (Novice) CSCS

3 Day Course
This course is designed to instruct, train and assess participants in the safe use of 360 Excavators, in a variety of terrains, in keeping with current legislation.
Machine size, weight and power make it imperative that operators are accredited personnel who have successfully completed an appropriate 360 excavator training course.


Who Should Attend?
Those looking to gain full CSCS certification for a 360 Excavator.
Candidates Must:
Have a Valid Safe Pass Card.
Have proof of 6 Months on site experience. (letter from employer)
Bring a Current Passport Photo.
Bring their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc).
Be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Information:
Maximum and minimum of 4 learners.

Course Content:
Theory

  • Duties of operator.
  • Pre-Shift Inspection.
  • Hazards associated with working with 360 Excavators.

Course Content
Practical

  • Excavating and digging procedures.
  • Back filling procedures.
  • Ground Levelling.
  • Machine limitations in different environments.

Certification:
SOLAS CSCS logbook/ticket and QQI certificate.
On the 3rd day of the course participants are given a log book. After 6 months further experience under the supervision of a CSCS ticket holder of the same category, they must pass a 1 day assessment to achieve CSCS card and QQI Certification.
