3 Day Course
This course is designed for beginners who want to become a Telescopic Handler Operator in the Construction Industry. Before taking part, participants are required to have a valid Safe Pass card and have completed at least 3 months on-site experience.
Who Should Attend?
Those employees who are responsible for or in control of a 360 Excavator.
Candidates Must:
Have a Valid Safe Pass Card.
Have 3 Months on site experience.
Bring a Current Passport Photo.
Bring their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc).
Be at least 18 years of age.
Required Work Experience Following this Training Course for Full Qualification:
After six months work experience on the Telescopic Handler participants must attend a one day assessment. *On successful completion participants will receive a QQI certificate & SOLAS CSCS Card.

- Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Safe machine operating procedures.
- Safe Storage and Handling practices.
- Control of Lifting Equipment.
- Security and Safe Movement of Loads.
- Marking Identification.
- Balance and Stability.
Course Objectives:
On completion of this course the learners will be able to:
- Understand the relevant Health and Safety legislation.
- Identify workplace hazards.
- Apply and Understand Telescopic Handler Operations.
- Carry out Operational Checks on all Equipment.
Certification:
SOLAS CSCS Provisional ticket.*
