1 Day (Experienced) 3 Day (Novice)
The aim of this training course is to equip learners with the skills, knowledge & understanding to safely operate an artic dumper.
Who Should Attend?
Those employees who are responsible for or in control of an Artic Dumper.
Candidate requirements:
A form of Photographic ID is required.
6 months verifiable experience in the last two years.
Valid in date safe pass card.
Their own PPE (Hard Hat, High Vis Vest, Safety Boots, Gloves.).
Trainees must be at least 18 years of age.
Training Methods:
Classroom based PowerPoint Presentation.
Learners will gain some practical experience operating an Artic Dumper with our highly experienced instructor.

Maximum of 3 learners.
Course Content:
- Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008.
- Employers & Employees legal duties under current Health & Safety Legislation.
- Safe Use of a Articulated Dump Truck.
- Pre-use inspection of equipment.
- Site Safety.
- Traffic Management.
Course Objectives:
On completion of this course the learners will be:
- Aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation as it applies to safe operation of an Artic Dumper.
- Able to operate safely an Artic Dumper.
- Aware of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008.
Certification:
SOLAS CSCS Card & QQI certification will be awarded to those who successfully complete and pass the course.
