This course aims to equip learners with the understanding of the importance of safety while operating a Ride On Roller while at work.
Who Should Take This Course?
This course is designed for those employees who operate a Ride On Roller as part of their normal duties.
Candidate Requirements:
Passport Photo.
Current Safe Pass is Advisable.
Personal Protective Equipment.
Participants must at least 18 years of age.
Training Methods:
The course includes a mix of classroom sessions with demonstrations and practical exercises operating a Ride On Roller under the supervision & direction of our highly experienced instructor.

Course Content Includes:
- Health & Safety Legislation & Regulations
- Discuss the role of the employer & employee in terms of Health & Safety in the Workplace
- Safe Use & Operation of the Ride On Roller
- Preparing an area for compaction
- Pre-Use Inspection
- Overhead & Underground Conditions
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion, candidates will:
- Be aware of the employers responsibilities under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Be aware of the employees responsibilities under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Understand the rolling techniques including the principles of compaction.
- Be able to safely operate a Ride On Roller.
Certification
Certificate of Competence will be issued to all learners who successfully complete & pass this course.
